Libby has been saving up her money to buy a bike. She's been saving her birthday and holiday gift money and has been going to work with Riley once a week to earn money and this week she finally had enough saved up. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this fund! We found one on Craigslist last night that was a perfect fit for her! She tried it out and said, "Mom, that was sure fun!" So, it was dark when we got home last night and Libby wasn't able to ride her bike then, but when she woke up this morning, she came out of her room with shoes in hand and said she was ready to go ride her bike! There were a couple problems, though...it was STILL DARK and it was barely 30 DEGREES outside!!! So we waited until after breakfast and then all got bundled up to go out. By this time it was 34 degrees!! Much warmer, huh?!
I jogged, pushing Daniel in the stroller. He was so excited to get to wear mittens on his "ingers". Doesn't he look cozy?!
Riley rode alongside Libby and was cheering her on! She "munched" quite a few times but toughed it out! I think in no time she'll have those training wheels off! I can't believe she's big enough for a big girl bike! :)
